John F. Mussi's Obituary
John F. Mussi, 63, of N. Syracuse, passed away April 18, 2025 at St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Syracuse and recently retired as an electrician with Black & McDonald in East Syracuse for many years. John enjoyed traveling to Old Forge and Florida. He also enjoyed watching his daughter’s lacrosse team and was an avid New Orleans Saints football fan. Most importantly, he loved helping and spending time with his family.
He was predeceased by his father, Anthony J. Mussi.
John is survived by his wife, Christine (Kocher) Mussi; his children, Reva, Chantel and Nicholas Mussi; his grandson Francis; his mother, Catherine Mussi; 9 siblings: Anthony Mussi, Jr., Darlene Caruso, Joseph Mussi, Barbara Mussi, Genevieve Mussi, Patricia Mussi, Richard Mussi, Steven Mussi, and Maria Mussi, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 4 – 6 pm, followed by a prayer service at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
