John R. "Dick" Reith's Obituary
John R. “Dick” Reith, 87, passed away May 14, 2019 at Van Duyn Center. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Charles R. and Marion L. (Cosselmon) Reith. Dick was a U.S. Marine Corps. veteran. He enjoyed golfing and watching the 49ers.
He is predeceased by his brothers, Robert and James Reith. Dick is survived by three daughters, Dawn (Joe) Valentino, Lisa (Dave) Fleck and Erica Reith; two granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; his former wife, Delores Barbagallo Rush; two step-children; two step-grandchildren; brother, Thomas (Butch) Reith; sister, Patricia Wood; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm, immediately followed by a Funeral Service in celebration of Dick’s life at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
