John R. Rinaldi's Obituary
John R. Rinaldi, 88, passed away on Friday at his home in Syracuse. He was a lifelong resident of Syracuse and a World War II Veteran. John graduated from Lemoyne College and Syracuse University School of Law. He practiced law in Syracuse for over 50 years.
John was a generous, colorful and lovable man with a gift for spreading fun and laughter to all whose lives he touched.
During his illness, John was lovingly cared for by Shawn Patterson, Rae Ann Hayden, Anthony (Say) Taylor and Beverly Shider.
John is survived by his loving wife, Mary (Darminio) Rinaldi; his children, Stephanie Charlip of Boston, John R. Rinaldi, Jr. of Dewitt and Gregory Rinaldi of Minoa; grandchildren, Allie, Annie and Jeffrey Charlip of Boston and Gavin Rinaldi of Minoa; his brother, Angelo Rinaldi of Fayetteville along with many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 10:00 am in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
