Dear Diane, John, Phil and Steve,
I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. He was such genuinely good man. A gentleman of kindness and integrity. And such a wonderful sense of humor, I loved going to Oneonta Beef to pick up the weekly receipts and have a cup of coffee with John and Tim. John always told the best stories. Dear family, we are deeply saddened by Johns passing. I loved talking and joking with him at my fathers warehouse in Solvay. I truly looked forward to seeing him when I went out there. John would be the uplift in a stressful, busy day. As I headed there I would think to myself “I hope Johns there.” My wife was equally fond of John. He was kind, funny, a great story teller who even wrote a journal about the going ons at the warehouse that he later said he was going to write a book about “The Warehouse!” I will truly miss him. I am sorry to hear of John’s passing. I knew him from the meat business and mutual friends for many years. A great man for whom I had much respect and fondness. May he rest in peace.

Sorry to hear of Johns passing. I will never forget him holding his first born grandson, Joe, in my apt in Utica. Joe spit up on him.and John was not happy! Diane had a good chuckle!
