John C. Stevens' Obituary
John C. Stevens, 62, of Liverpool, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday. He was born in New Hartford, NY, the son of the late Ferris and Catherine (Wick) Stevens. John retired after many years of service as a welder for Partlow Corporation in Utica. John was an avid SU and Yankee fan his entire life. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed.
He was predeceased by his parents and a sister. John is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Mary Ellen (Baulig) Stevens; his daughters, Melanie (Daniel) Reynolds of Liverpool and Melinda Stevens of Linden, NJ; two grandchildren, Abigail Reynolds and David Spence II; two sisters, Judith Stevens of Rockford, IL and Sue Hall of Middletown, OH along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 9:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 10:00 am in St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
