I was saddened to hear of Charlies Passing.... He was a good man and knew him for many years at Maple Court apts.... My thoughts and prayers to the family ...RIP Charlie...
Charlie pretty gave me my first real job when he was the superintendent at Maple Court Apts., in Watertown, NY, and also set me up with my first apartment there also, all at the time when I was just married and expecting my first child. Besides being my boss, we also became friends; hunting, fishing and sharing a few beers together. I have many good and fond memories of Charlie and my experiences at Maple Court... Even the times sitting in the break room while having coffee and doughnuts, when he would ask, who wants the last doughnut, as he stuck his finger in it:) lol Thanks Charlie. You'll be missed by many, but not forgotten. My condolences to Charlie's children, grandchildren and family. RIP my friend. Charlie Doner

I am so sorry to hear about your father’s death. I have very sweet memories of you and him at Maple Courts. He worked hard and was generous and fair to many. He was a man who just wanted to love and be loved. He truly loved his little girl and was always so proud of you. I know it’s been over 25 years and you may not remember me. It’s been a long time since you stayed over at my apartment or just came to visit and hang out. I just wanted you to know that I hadn’t forgotten you and the sweet relationship that you had with your dad. I pray that God surrounds you and your family and comforts you all as you grieve the loss of your father.
