Joseph Thomas Anesi's Obituary
Joseph Thomas Anesi, 83, of Liverpool, NY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at the Francis House. He was born on June 12, 1931, in Syracuse, NY to the late Jenny (Centritta) and Nicholas Annesi. Joseph served with the US Air Force from 1948-1952 and was Honorably Discharged as Staff Sergeant. He retired in 1986 as an engineer for Carrier Corporation in Syracuse, NY after 34 years of service.
He was predeceased by his wife of 32 years, Joan (Sarno) Anesi in 1986 and his siblings, John Annesi and Mary Titone.
Joseph is survived by his son, Joseph and daughter-in-law, Beth (Hall) Anesi; his grandchildren, Christopher and Elizabeth Anesi, all of Newtown, Connecticut; siblings, Leonard Annesi, Antoinette (Charles) Milazzo, Frances (Richard) Ventrone, Anne (Robert) Rafka, Rose (Donald) Husted and Carol (Gerald) Wallace, along with several nieces and nephews
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Joseph’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at St. John the Baptist Church, Syracuse. Entombment will follow at Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday, April 24, 2015 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Francis House, 108 Michael’s Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13208.
