Joseph J. Brigandi's Obituary
Joseph J. Brigandi, 79, of Syracuse, passed away Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born in Syracuse, the son of Jack and Rose Mary (Chiodo) Brigandi. Joseph served in the U.S. Air Force and was member of the John Venditti Post #1 on Danforth Street. He was an Insurance Salesman with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for over 20 years and also was the co-owner of Brigandi's Grant Restaurant. Joseph was an avid lover of music and played guitar. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Margaret A. (Winchell) Brigandi; his son, Thomas P. Brigandi of Syracuse; his daughter, Denise R. Brigandi of Orlando, FL; granddaughter, Catherine F. Brigandi and former daughter-in-law, Maryann Brigandi of Jamesville. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 10:00 am in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
