Joseph F. Cerio's Obituary
Joseph F. Cerio, 72, of Cicero, passed away on Christmas Day at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born in Syracuse and was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Cicero. Joseph served with the U.S. Marine Corp Reserve for 6 years. He was employed with Marine Midland Bank for 15+ years, MDS Express for over 20 years and was a self- employed Carrier. Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Sandra (Millet) Cerio; four children, Mark, Timothy, Patricia and Rebecca Cerio; two step-children, Shawn Prue and Rhonda Marlin; ten grandchildren; two brothers, Michael (Dolores) Cerio of Baldwinsville and Richard Cerio of Lyncourt; sister, Marianne (Ted) Aksterowicz of Liverpool; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Thursday from 4 to 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Church, Cicero.
