Joseph DeMichele's Obituary
Joseph DeMichele, 85, of Syracuse, passed away on Thursday at James Square. He was born in Syracuse and served with the US Navy during WWII. Joseph was employed with the US Post Office for 41 years, retiring in 1987. He was Secretary of NARFE. Joseph was a member of Knights of the Cross, American Legion Post 41, John Venditti Post , Italian American Athletic Club and a former member of the Holy Name Society at Our Lady of Pompei Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Judith Anne (Brown) DeMichele; sister-in-law, Marie DeMichele of Syracuse and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A calling hour will be held on Saturday at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church from 9 to 10 am followed by a funeral mass at 10 am. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. THOMAS J.
