Joseph A. Dodge's Obituary
Joseph A. Dodge, 71, of Central Square, NY, passed away after a brief cancer diagnosis on Monday, April 1, 2024. He was born in Fulton, NY, son of the late Meldon and Georgia (Bellinger) Dodge. He graduated from Oswego State University with a master’s in education and was a teacher at the Central Square Central School District. He coached many sports including football and track. Joseph enjoyed reading, playing golf, and watching sports. He also quietly battled Multiple Sclerosis for 30 years.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Blair Dodge and sister, Laurie Dodge.
Joseph is survived by his loving spouse, Patricia (Armlin) Dodge; daughter, Sara (John-Paul) Friday; grandchildren, Nolan, and Evan Friday; siblings, Barry Dodge, Val (Ed) Oleyourryk, Becky (Bob) Dodge, Brenda (Tom) Fletcher, Fred Dodge, and Melanie (Scott) Stafford; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024, followed by a funeral service at 6:15 p.m. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
