Joseph A. Ezzo, 67, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 8, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Syracuse to Francis Jr. and Lucy (Ingallinera) Ezzo and worked for 20 years as a salesman for Read Obituary

I met Joe in 2003 and over the past 19 years he evolved from an employee to a friend. It was a trip from a Toledo business meeting in a snow storm that we really got to know each other. Driving 30 mph for 10 hrs we told stories and stressed as we watched cars going off the road. From that point forward it was rare if we did not talk each morning or evening about friends, struggles, joys and funny things. We could argue politics or sales strategies but never held it against each other with an occasional apology the next day. Joe was spirited, loyal, independent, talented and unique. He stuck with me through the worst business time of my life and I tried to return his loyalty in kind. Each day that I back from my garage and drive home at night I will always think of Joe and miss those times. I will be comforted recalling by the past stories and how happy he was playing the drums. Somewhere in heaven he is banging those drums and dancing.

Joey Ezzo was a sincere, kind man. He always made sure he connected with those he knew and he took special interested in peoples lives what was happening with them. He would even take notes on your life to make sure he didn’t miss anything. Every year he would remember my birthday

My cousin Joe and I had mothers that were sisters. Joe was madcap and he sure could make me laugh.
Our childhood was filled with lots of good Italian food and lots of warm Italian love. We were neighbors and we spent lots of time together. We discovered that we had many things in common. I was brokenhearted to hear of his illness.
