To all of Joe’s family and friends, My deepest heartfelt condolences on the passing of Joe sr. I worked with Joe for many years in the heat treat department at NPG.Great guy and the hardest working man I have ever known. I understand why he was called “Mr.Clean!” He got to work early on the night shift to setup the furnace the way he wanted it. For a big man, who could be intimidating to some, he was a gentle giant with a surprising sense of humor! I worked the job next to his. We had a lot of conversations.

Mr. Granted was a wonderful person. I remember his devotion to his family, sports and cleanliness. We had the honor of being "backyard" neighbors for decades. Mrs. Granted, Joe, Michelle, Maura and family, I am so very sorry for your loss.
The description of Uncle Joe from his values to his dedication to his family and unique ways of showing love in his obituary brought back great memories of spending summers on Rita drive.
He'd slip us money for ice cream, sit with my family for hours at the kitchen with a pot of coffee while Aunt Marianne was cooking in the kitchen cause you'd never leave hungry.
Some of my best memories growing up was time spent with Uncle Joe, Aunt Marianne and kids. RIP Uncle Joe.

I’m so sorry to hear about your husband, dad, grandfather, great grandfather’s and our friend as well passing. He was an exceptional friend to my parents, Louise and Bill Chrysler and I would here of there dinners out on Friday night and back at each others houses for some coffee and dessert or maybe a card game or two 🤗I always remember my mom praising what a wonderful, compassionate , loving, caring human being he truly was inside and out! The obituary that was written described him to a tee! He will be forever missed by many but always in our hearts!💞
