Joseph D. Malorzo's Obituary
Joseph D. Malorzo, 82, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Elderwood at Liverpool on July 23, 2019. He was born in Rome, NY, son of the late Joseph B. (Buck) and Sylvia (Pietrogiacomo) Malorzo. Joe worked several dedicated years for Corning Glass Works and later with Niagara Mohawk. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and was an avid Euchre player. Joe was accomplished in both Saxophone and Clarinet in his younger years and had a great joy for music in his later years. He loved spending time with family and friends, especially his beloved grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his wife, Maria and a brother, Arthur P. Malorzo.
Joe is survived by two sons, Joseph R. (Peggy) Malorzo of Corning, NY and Arthur P. Malorzo of Liverpool; his daughter, Lisa M. Malorzo (Daniel Husted) of Liverpool; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family would like to express extreme gratitude to the staff at NOVA (Northern Onondaga Volunteer Ambulance).
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2019 from 12 pm – 2 pm, immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Joseph’s life at 2 pm at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
