Joseph Motto's Obituary
Joseph Motto, 84, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 4, 2015. He was born in Syracuse and served with the U.S. Navy. Joseph was a labor foreman with Sal Masonry for many years and was a member of Local Labor Union 633. He enjoyed woodworking and traveling and visited all 50 states throughout his life. Joseph loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, Carmen and Rose (Mascato) Motto; his brother, Anthony Motto and his sister, Carmella Ribblet.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Carol (Condolora) Motto; his two daughters, Lisa (Joseph) Silvaggio of Center Valley, PA and Christine (Shawn) Motto of Auburn, NY; his son, Joseph (Patrick) Motto of Easton, PA; five grandchildren, Jake, Nicholas, Luke and Alia Silvaggio, and Frances Motto; his brother, Carmen Motto of Syracuse, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Joseph’s life will be held on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 2:00 pm in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum at a later date. THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME is handling funeral arrangements.
