Joseph C. Paratore 's Obituary
Joseph C. Paratore, 92, of Marietta, NY, passed away February 2, 2019 at St. Camillus. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Anthony and Jenny (Congel) Paratore. Joseph was a U.S. Army WWII veteran. He and his brother Peter were partners of Peter A. Paratore Construction Company.
He was predeceased by his wife, Lucille (Scripa) Paratore; three brothers, Anthony, Peter and Vincent.
Joseph is survived by his son, Dominic A. (Jeanne) Paratore of Manchester, MA; his daughter, JoEllen (Mark) Clary of Solvay; four grandchildren, Kristen (Roger) Paratore-Bock, Jae Longo, Todd Paratore and Laura Clary; five great-grandchildren; his sister, Rose Canale, along with several nieces, nephew and cousins.
His family would like to thank the entire staff at Keepsake Village for their care and compassion, and also the staff at St. Camillus.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, February 4, 2019 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Joseph’s life at 1:00 pm in Holy Family Church. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 9:30 am – 11:30 am on Monday at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
