Josephine Curcio's Obituary
Josephine (Ferretti) Curcio, 95, of Liverpool, went to be with the Lord on September 10, 2011 with her loving family by her side. She was the daughter of Louis and Angelina Ferretti who immigrated from Bari, Italy and the youngest of a family of 9. Josie, as she liked to be called, was a "jack of all trades". She especially enjoyed cooking, bowling and dancing. Josie worked in retail until age 77. She owned and maintained her house on the north side for 60 years and driving until the age of 94. Josie was a very sociable and likeable person and had many loving friends and co-workers throughout her years. We forever hold you in our thoughts and hearts dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and co-worker. We look forward to the day we shall be together again never to part. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Carmen Curcio, Sr. in 1983 and her 8 siblings, John, Tony, Anthony II, Frank, Joe, Angie, Rosie and Mary. Josie is survived by her 4 children, Carmen (Adele) Curcio Jr., Ronald (Beverly) Curcio, Dick Curcio and Rose Ann (Ron) Kuc; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren with another soon to arrive and 1 great-great-grandchild.
