Josephine Licamele's Obituary
Josephine (Sacco) Licamele, 92, of Syracuse, passed away Friday at Van Duyn Home & Hospital. She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of Louis and Philomena Sacco and resided in Eastwood for the past 60 years. Josephine was formerly employed with General Electric and the Syracuse City School District. She was a former member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Club. She loved the casino and playing bingo. Josephine cherished her family deeply. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Licamele in 1994. Josephine is survived by her two sons, Anthony R. (Patricia) Licamele and Robert L. (Debbie) Licamele, both of Syracuse; four grandchildren, Anthony, Michael, Brian and Danielle; four great- grandchildren; two step-grandchildren, Kristina and Ricky; a sister, Louise Testone of Syracuse and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 8:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 9:00 am in Blessed Sacrament Church. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
