Josephine (Ranalli) Ragonese's Obituary
Josephine (Ranalli) Ragonese was born in Syracuse, NY, April 8, 1919 to Michael and Rose Ranalli. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Ragonese, they were married for 62 years. She had 6 brothers, now deceased and a sister, Nellie Rousseau, now 104.
She graduated from Central City Business Institute. She was employed by Parks and Conservation as well as Onondaga Library and Health Department. Josephine was known as a Prayer Warrior, and for her love of God, the Word of God and love of family and friends. She always offered comfort, care and concern not only to family but even to strangers.
She had 5 children, Mary Rose Weslow (Ed), Carmelo Michael Ragonese, Esther Brown (Gerry), Jonathan Ragonese and Rebekah Ackerman (Robert). She was blessed with 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Josephine will be dearly missed but we look forward to our heavenly reunion. Private burial will be at White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.
