Josephine (Scudero) Strom's Obituary
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Josephine (Scudero) Strom, who was called to the Lord on March 1, 2024, at the venerable age of 94. Born on August 6, 1929, in Syracuse, Josephine lived a life marked by devotion to her family and unwavering faith.
Josephine's memory will be cherished by her sons, James (Darlene) Strom of Liverpool, NY, and Richard (MaryBeth) Strom of Gilbert, AZ, as well as her sister, Theresa Mirizio of Baldwinsville, NY, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She now joins her beloved parents, Charles and Lucy Scudero, in heavenly peace.
Josephine's legacy is one of love, kindness, and the gentle strength she bestowed upon her family. Her contagious sense of humor will be sorely missed, yet her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have felt her enduring warmth.
Arrangements were entrusted to Thomas J. Pirro Jr. Funeral Home where a private family service was held to mourn her loss and celebrate her faith, followed by Christian Burial at Assumption Cemetery in Syracuse, NY.
The family requests that donations be directed to the Charity of your choice, in Josephine’s memory. Your prayers and loving memories will be a comforting homage to a life so beautifully lived.
