Julia R. (Rinaldo) Giordano's Obituary
Julia R. (Rinaldo) Giordano, 100, of East Syracuse, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Upstate University Hospital. Born in Fairport, NY to the late John and Jenny Rinaldo, she graduated from high school, married her late husband, John, in 1956, and moved to Syracuse, becoming a self-employed beautician for many years. Julia enjoyed her senior lunches, playing cards, and most of all, spending time with her beloved children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Julia was also very proud that she was able to celebrate her 100th birthday at home, a milestone she was excited to achieve.
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John, in 1983; and 4 siblings.
Julia is survived by her 2 sons, Anthony S., and John A. Giordano; 3 grandchildren, Jonathan, Brandon, and Brittany; great-grandchildren, Vincent, and Jay Jay; a sister, Mary Ceravalo; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In keeping with Julia’s wishes, funeral services will be private, she will be laid to rest beside her husband in Assumption Cemetery.
