June A. (Parrott) Atwood, 97, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away on October 20, 2021.
Surviving are her daughters, Barbara Newman and Colleen Atwood, of Winston-Salem; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
June was born and raised in Syracuse, NY. She graduated from Blodgett Vocational High School in Syracuse and State University of New York at Albany. She was active in the Eastern Star for many years, enjoyed genealogical research, and traveled extensively with her late husband, William.
Private services and burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Syracuse, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1517 Luther Way, Southern Pines, NC 28387 or to a charity of your choosing.
