Karl M. DeCerce's Obituary
Karl M. DeCerce, 78, of Liverpool, passed away on Friday at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Frank and Sadone (Hansen) DeCerce. Karl was a U.S. Navy veteran and was employed for more than 20 years at Young and Franklin in Liverpool. Karl then went on to work at Welch Allyn for many years, developing a patent for the self-directing endoscope.
He was predeceased by his brother, Garrett DeCerce.
Karl is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Maggie (Sheridan) DeCerce; daughters, Deirdre (John) Fisher; Adrienne DeCerce; Lennie DeCerce (Shawn Cole); grandsons, Christopher and Matthew Fisher.
In honoring Karl’s wishes, there will be no funeral services.
