Karlene H. (Klink) Capone's Obituary
Karlene H. (Klink) Capone, 78, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Tuesday surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse, one of 14 children to Edwin and Helen (Schaknoske) Klink. Karlene retired from the Syracuse City School District after 33 dedicated years of service. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Karlene is survived by her son, Mark (Valerie) Capone; two daughters, Elisa Capone (Gregory Lando) and Desiree (Daniel) Capone-Murphy; her ex-husband, Salvatore (Francine) Capone; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 4:00 – 6:30 PM, followed by a Funeral Service in celebration of Karlene’s life at 6:30 PM in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
