Katherine M. (Lang) Verrillo's Obituary
Katherine M. (Lang) Verrillo, 86, of Lyncourt, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2023, at Upstate University Hospital. Born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Herman and Suzanna (Reiss) Lang, Katherine was a graduate of Syracuse University. She was a bookkeeper for many years for several local businesses before retiring from Lyncourt Drug. She enjoyed wintering in Myrtle Beach, SC with her late husband, Frank, SU sporting events, tennis, and most of all, spending time with her family.
Along with her parents, Katherine was predeceased by her husband, Frank, in 2019; as well as 2 siblings.
She is survived by four children, Christine (John) Camille of North Syracuse, Daniel Verrillo of Highpoint, NC, Nancy (Stephen) Hauprich of Cicero, Steven Verrillo of Tully; six grandchildren, Morgan (Zach) Abbott, Madison (Cory) Badman, Taylor, and Kasey Verrillo, and Dylan and Justin “JT” Hauprich; 1 great-granddaughter, Maisie Abbott; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO, JR. FUNERAL HOME. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Monday, August 7, 2023, at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
