Kathleen (Taylor) Azzolino's Obituary
Kathleen (Taylor) Azzolino, 74, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Friday surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Raymond and Veronica (Driscoll) Taylor. She was a 1963 graduate of St. Anthony of Padua High School and was employed with Niagara Mohawk, Charles Heating, and several dedicated years at Kopp Collection Services before retiring. Kathy enjoyed bowling and was an avid Syracuse University basketball and football fan. She mostly enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends, and especially with her beloved grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her sister, Judith Miles.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Michael J. Azzolino; her children, Suzanne (John) O’Neil; Michael R. (Carrie) Azzolino; Mark J. (Jennifer) Azzolino; six grandchildren, Ethan, Sean, Natalie, Veronica, Ryan and Hank; brother, William Taylor; sisters, Barbara (David) Rose; Mary (Jack) Savage; Helen Wilson; brother-in-law, John Miles; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Family and friends may call on Monday, January 13, 2020 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Road (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the staff in the Cardiac Care Unit and ICU at Crouse Hospital for their exceptional care of Kathy.
