Kathleen A. (Peconi) Brant's Obituary
Kathleen A. (Peconi) Brant, 73, of East Syracuse, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015 with her loving family by her side. She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of the late Ralph and Grace (Logan) Peconi. Kathleen was a beautician and retired after many years of service. She was a communicant of St. Matthew’s Church and a member of its choir. Kathleen was an avid Yankee fan, enjoyed bowling and golfing and was a member of Brooklawn Golf League in Syracuse. She wintered in Florida for the past 20+ years. Kathleen spent most of her life raising her family as a wife, mother and grandmother who will be truly missed.
She was predeceased by her sister, Theresa Bottino and her brother, Peter Peconi.
Kathleen is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, B. Gene Brant; her daughter, Stacey (Raymond) Fiederer of Kirkville; her son, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Brant of Chittenango; four grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Bethany and Rebecca Brant and Samantha Fiederer; her brother, John (Anita) Peconi of Liverpool; two sisters, Lucille Hamilton of Solvay and MaryAnn Aiello of Syracuse; many nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved family friend; Joyce (Charles) Boniewicz.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 am on Monday, January 4, 2016 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Kathleen’s life at 9:00 am in St. Matthew’s Church, East Syracuse. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 6:00 – 9:00 pm on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
