Kathleen M. (Michaels) Egnoto's Obituary
Kathleen M. (Michaels) Egnoto, 85, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Peter and Lucy (Pecora) Michaels. Kathleen was a loving mother who volunteered at various Liverpool Schools while her children were attending; she enjoyed traveling and visited California, Alaska, and Italy, but her favorite destination was Aruba, where she vacationed many times with her husband and special longtime friends.
In addition to her parents, Kathleen is predeceased by her son-in-law, Robert Woodford.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Orazio Egnoto; her children, Jacquelyn Woodford, Michael (Marie) Egnoto, and Mardee (Brian) Lintern; her six grandchildren, Mark (Elisabeth), Zachary, Samantha, Dante, Valentina, and Dominique; her three great-grandchildren, Adeline, Marshall, and Elliott; and her sister, Lucille (Richard) King; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral Mass in celebration of Kathleen’s life will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at 11:30 A.M. in Epiphany Parish (formerly St. Joseph the Worker Church) 1001 Tulip St., Liverpool. Visitation will take place on Monday, January 27, 2025, from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse.
