Kathleen E. (Weigand) Stone's Obituary
Kathleen E. (Weigand) Stone, 58, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on July 18, 2020. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Maurice and Rosemary (Schad) Weigand. Kathleen was an avid SU sports fan and loved her Dallas Cowboys and NY Yankees. She enjoyed gardening, baking and music, especially Bruce Springsteen. Kathleen loved spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her son, Corey Stone; brother, David Weigand; mother-in-law, Janet Stone; brother-in-law, Todd Stone.
Kathleen is survived by her husband of 33 years, Dean R. Stone; two brothers, Michael (Barbara) Weigand and Thomas Weigand; three sisters, Roseann Barone, Patty (Rocco) DiMento and Shawn (Phil) Duffy; her father-in-law, Robert J. Stone; sister-in-law, Valerie J. Stone, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 from 9:00 – 9:45 am at Blessed Sacrament Church, 3127 James St., Syracuse, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Kathleen’s life at 10:00 am. She will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt.
