Keith J. "Whitey" Wentling's Obituary
Keith J. "Whitey" Wentling, 78, of Liverpool, passed away Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Syracuse and was a graduate of North High School. Keith served with the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a driver with Roadway Express for 30 years before his retirement and was also a member of Teamsters Local Union 317. Keith was an avid Yankees, Raiders and Dale Earnhardt Fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family and having breakfast at Stella's with his teamsters buddies. Keith especially loved spending winters in Florida.
He was predeceased by his parents, Muriel (Lojudice) and James Wentling. Keith is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Stephanie (Felicia) Wentling; his children, Diana (Kenny) Stockdale; Jackie (Mike) Dolson; Mike (Debra) Wentling; John (Nina) Wentling and Sam Wentling; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Margot and Marsha; 2 brothers, James and Richard, along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 9:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 10:00 am in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
