Kenneth M. Kicinski Sr.'s Obituary
Kenneth M. “Kenny” Kicinski, Sr. 72, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Wednesday, November 7, 2018. He was born in Syracuse and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Kenny worked as a bartender for 52 years in many local establishments. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and Dallas Cowboy fan, and often rooted for any team or “numbers” he needed.
He was predeceased by his father, Walter M. Kicinski.
Kenny is survived by his wife of 40 years, Carolyn (Iauco) Kicinski; his mother, Julia D. Langewicz; two sons, Kenneth M. Kicinski, Jr. and Michael P. Zangari; his daughter, Tammy M. Zangari; five grandchildren, Kenny Mike Kicinski III, Chelsea Zangari, Brittany Zangari, Cheyenne (Cody) Gridley and Dallas Gridley; three great-grandchildren, Rayden, Kaiden and Korbin; several nieces, nephews, godchildren and many friends. Kenny’s family would like to extend a very special thank you to Gloria and Kathy.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 4:00 – 6:30 pm, immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Kenny’s life at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
