Kevy. Kev. Kevin. My stepdad. My dad. You never missed a single event in us girls' lives. Every soccer game, basketball game, chorus or band concert, play, musical, MY kids sporting events, grandparents day, nothing. NEVER missed a single thing. I always knew you were in the stands watching, cheering. You have been there for every step I've taken, including my first. I was a 6 month old baby when you came into my life, and I will forever be grateful for that. There's nothing you wouldn’t do for us girls, as well as all 6 of your grandchildren. Anytime we needed advice or reassurance we could come to you and get just that and more. I'd leave your house knowing everything would be all right. You once told me I was the most resilient person you’ve ever met... well Kevin you’re the most inspiring, principled, diligent, and humble man I’ve ever had the honor to know and love. There's nobody on earth who will ever amount to who you were to me and all that you've done for me, my entire life. I love you more than I could ever describe. I don’t know how I’ll ever be the same again without you here. "You’ll be missed" is pale in comparison to how I feel. You’ll be remembered. Every day..for the rest of my life. Not for just what you did for us, but for who you were to us. You chose to love us, you chose to provide for us, you chose us and we chose you too. I could never ask for a better father figure, or role model than you. I love you so much.
This is just one of many memories of you showing up for your family. We love you.

There is no greater friend a person could have than Kev! He was always there for anyone that needed help or advice. He was a man of his word, caring, trusting, giving, thoughtful and many other things that would take paragraphs to explain. I know that now your at peace. Ill see you on the other side my brother!

I’ve known Kevin since we were in junior high school together we used to skip school and make fake phone calls especially to Mrs Sims the school nurse we’d pretend to be Ed Murfee from dialing for dollars and tell her she won but we’d laugh so hard we’d mess it up. He was always one of my favorite people we didn’t see each other for many years and when we ran into each other the bond was still there.You are loved and missed Kevin ❤️

I had the privilege of getting to know Kevin during our years at Frontier. I’m truly grateful for the time we spent working together and for the knowledge he shared from his many years of experience. I always looked forward to our workdays and the conversations we had along the way. Kevin was the kind of person who was always willing to help whenever I found myself in a bind. He will certainly be missed. It was an honor to have known him. Rest in peace.
