Kevin L. Moody's Obituary
Kevin L. Moody, 74, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 31, 2024, with his family by his side. He was born in Clifton Springs, NY, son of the late Leon and Laura (Cardner) Moody. Kevin graduated with an MBA from Columbia College and retired from Carrier Corporation in 2005 after 37 years, followed by work at Magna, Daikin McQuay, and Auburn Vacuum Forming working as a Quality Manager and Engineer.
Kevin enjoyed golfing, attending music, dance, and theatrical events involving children and grandchildren, and spending time with family and friends. He was an avid SU sports fan and served on the board of McFee Memorial Ambulance in Mexico, NY.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Dean Douglas Moody and sisters, Laura Jean Pomona, Judith Masuicca, and Sara Moody Bundy, and Carol J. Granger.
Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Betty A. Moody; sons, Kevin (Teresa) Moody and Todd (Eileen) Moody; stepsons, Jim (Amy) Brescia, and Mark (Andrea) Brescia; stepdaughter, Suzie Marsello; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and brother, Leon (Glenda) Moody.
Family and friends may call from 3:00 – 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2024, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 p.m. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. Private entombment will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Donald Mc Fee Memorial Ambulance, 52 Watson Ave. Mexico, NY 13114.
