Kriss Cardner's Obituary
Kriss Cardner, 55, of Clay, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Upstate University Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Fort Belvoir, VA to Donald and Linda (Feigel) Cardner and graduated from SUNY Alfred in 1987 and later from Alfred State College of Technology in 1989, specializing in drafting technical illustration. He was a long-time employee of Specialty Welding & Fabricating in Syracuse but currently worked as a project manager for Gaylord Archival. Kriss was an avid Syracuse sports fan and was a talented woodworker; he enjoyed the simple things in life, especially camping on Lake George and spending time with his family.
Kriss is survived by his loving wife of 3 years, Christina Paul-Cardner; his five daughters, Michaela Cardner (Ryan), Mackenzie Cardner, Madison Perrigo (Ben), Kayleigh Spraker, and Gina Carbonaro; his grandchildren, Eddie, Asher, and Atlas; his parents, Donald and Linda (Feigel) Cardner; his sister, Amy Cardner (Steve); along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Kriss’ life at 12:00 P.M. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse.
