Laura Ann Barron's Obituary
Laura Ann Barron, 49, of East Syracuse, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2025. She was born in Syracuse to David William and Barbara Ann (Bartchak) Barron.
Laura worked as a Customer Service Representative at Baxter. She loved traveling to visit family and going to the beach for sunset. Laura was an active Pokémon Go Trainer, introducing countless people to the fun of that online community. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, spending most of her free time enjoying adventures with her daughter and grandchildren. Laura regularly explored CNY parks and could find the best places to see a sunset. In her quiet time, she enjoyed the companionship of her beloved cat, Anakin.
She was predeceased by her father, David William Barron.
Laura is survived by her daughter, Julia Marie Barron; her mother, Barbara Ann Barron; her grandchildren, Kody William and Kynlee Ann Campbell; her siblings, Lisa Ann (Douglas Garfield) Curtis, James William (Michelle Renee) Barron, and Lance William (Goldi Elizabeth) Barron.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2025, immediately followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
