Hi Beloved Family, What can I say about your beautiful mother. She was/is a true gem. Beautiful, strong, loving, so kind, compassionate, funny, generous...... I know your loving heart will continue to help and guide those you have left behind. Thank you for enriching my life. xo
John, Nipper, Connie, Mary, George, Laurie:
I heard from my Mom about Aunt Laura. So sorry to get that news. I remember her generosity, and her genuine desire to make people happy. I remember the chocolate milkshakes she would make for us when we visited as kids, even though we'd politely say "no thank you" when she asked. She knew my Mom and Dad, as usual, had told us on the way over in the car not to "act like you haven't eaten in a week". Her apple pie was the best, too.
Times like these make it clear that although we can keep in touch from distances like New York to California, it's not like being there. Know that I am thinking of you all, and have fond memories of you all, and both your Mom, and your Dad.
Love,
Debbie Canino
John - I only met your Mother a couple times, but that was enough for me to realize what a wonderful, remarkable woman she was. I regret that I had to be away during the services, but please know that my thoughts have been with you and your family.
