I only got the chance to meet Lauren in person once, but she was the lifelong friend of two of my cousins- Lisa and Sara. I've heard many heartwarming stories over the years and was thrilled when I was in Syracuse visiting Lisa in 2024 and Lauren invited us both over to her and Phil's house for a barbeque they were having. She was a total joy to meet, and I had so much fun at her house that day hanging out with the family that is considered family to my cousin. I'm sad that I will not get a chance to know here better. RIP Lauren. You will be missed by so many people.
My Utt. I will miss you and love you forever. Our days working at murphys and getting into so much mischief will be special treasures of mine. You were such a beautiful bride at your wedding I can still see you clear as day. I wish we got our way and got to live in sleepy hollow together and raise our babies. For all the good times and for all the times we now lost, you will always be in my heart for the rest of my life.

When I was a kid I came to visit family in New York. Lauren was several years older than me, and I thought she was the coolest girl I’d ever met. When I went to her house, where we hung out, she showed me her makeup. She let me try a little too, and I remember feeling so grown up. I don’t even remember what we talked about, just how I admired her—older, confident, effortlessly cool.
