Lawrence "Larry" Scott Beale's Obituary
Lawrence “Larry” Scott Beale, 72, of Liverpool, passed away October 11, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was born and raised in Rochester, NY and attended SUNY Geneseo, where he earned his bachelor’s degree. Larry was a U.S. Navy veteran and proud Eagle Scout; scouting was very important to him and his family. He was a voracious and avid reader, usually reading 2 or 3 books at one time. Larry started his working career at Patton Consulting, was a software engineer at NY Power Authority and later worked and retired as an RN at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
He was predeceased by his father, Arthur W. Beale; his brother-in-law, Albert (Elaine) Krenitsky and sister-in-law, Cheryl Beale.
Larry is survived by his wife of 43 years, Karen (Krenitsky) Beale; his son, Kevin A. Beale (Stephanie Rhoades); his mother, Joy (Gulling) Beale; siblings, David S. Beale, Patricia Beale Leach, and Randall M. Beale; brother-in-law, Robert B. Krenitsky; nieces and nephews, Kristen (Doug), Nathaniel (Ying), Carolyn (Rachele), Melissa (Phil), Katie (Colin), Nicole (Jared) and Tatiana (Hamilton), along with several great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 11 am – 1 pm, immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Larry’s life at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to NOVA, NAVAC, or the Davis Phinney Foundation for Parkinson’s.
