Lawrence Vincent Cordone 's Obituary
Lawrence Vincent Cordone, 61, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday at Upstate University Hospital. He was born in Syracuse and was a 1969 graduate of East Syracuse Minoa High School. Larry was a 1973 graduate of Siena College where he received a degree in Economics. He worked for several years as a social case worker in Onondaga County and also worked at Microwave Filter Company in East Syracuse for the majority of his career. Larry was a big man with an even bigger heart. He had a sharp wit, a casual and gregarious attitude toward life and could always make you laugh. Larry was an extremely generous man with family and friends and never had a bad word to say about anyone. He will be dearly missed.
He was predeceased by his parents, Leonard and Louise (Zeppettello) Cordone and his brother, Leonard Gerald Cordone. Larry is survived by his brother, Leslie (Michele) Cordone of Jamesville; sister-in-law, Joyce Cordone of Rochester; a niece, Alaina Cordone and nephew, Guthrie Cordone.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:00 am with Rev. Joseph Clemente in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
