Lawrence P. "Larry" Nave's Obituary
Our beloved Larry Nave passed away at the age of 85 on Thursday, August 8, 2013. A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Larry was born in Syracuse, NY and moved to Marco Island, Florida in 1989. He retired from AT&T in 1988 after 35 years, where he was a National Service Manager. Larry served in the US Navy, he was an usher at San Marco Catholic Church, and loved golf, bowling, softball, and fondly remembered coaching his sons’ little league teams.
Larry is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Rita, upon whom he doted and protected. He is also survived by his sons, John (Sandy Chandler) of Purcellville, VA and Richard (Lisa Vertucci) of Syracuse, NY; his daughter, Lorraine (Robert Schock) of Toronto, Ontario; his seven grandchildren, Ashley, Lyndsay, Jonathan, Taylor, Madison, Andrew, and Alli; two great-grandchildren, Gavin and Connor Hunt; sister, Cathy Cava of Syracuse and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Larry was pre-deceased by his brother, Christopher Nave.
A memorial mass in celebration of Larry's life will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 10:00 am in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Liverpool.
