Lena J. Laurange's Obituary
Lena J. (Fresina) Laurange, 91, of Syracuse, passed away on Friday at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Canastota, she lived in Albany for many years before moving to Syracuse in 1966. She was very devoted to her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, George Laurange in 1975. Lena is survived by her 2 sons, George (Judith) Laurange of Liverpool and Mark Laurange of Syracuse; 3 daughters, Barbara Laurange of Syracuse, Linda (Frank) Squadrito of Liverpool and Donna (Ronald) Metz of Jordan, NY; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Lucy Tatosian of Westbury, LI and Mary Ciampi of Loudenville, NY; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 9:00 AM in the THOMAS J. PIRRO FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY and 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Pompei /St. Peter Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 7 PM. Lena's family wishes to extend a special "Thank You" to granddaughter, Danielle, who gave her special care.
