Lena M. Martin's Obituary
Lena M. (Palmisano) Martin, 75, of Syracuse, passed away on Sunday at Syracuse Home Association. Born in Syracuse, she was employed with Peter's and Chicago Markets and was often seen at Lombardi's Fruits and Imports on Butternut St. Lena was a former member of the Moose Club. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Martin, in 1998. She is survived by her son, Ralph C. (Dorie) Martin of Baldwinsville; her daughter, Kim A. (Arnold) Slaby of Westvale; four grandchildren, Sara (Brandon) DiPaolo, Ralph E. (Tiffany) Martin, Ian Martin and Courtney Hosler; a great-granddaughter, Ava Grace DiPaolo; a sister, Mamie (Richard) Strom of Liverpool; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 9 a.m. Thursday in Thomas J. Pirro Funeral Home. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, DeWitt. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m.
