Lena (Cosimano) Pallone's Obituary
Lena (Cosimano) Pallone, 95, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully, Monday, December 24, 2018 at the Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Home. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Pitrone) Cosimano. Lena was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Domenick Pallone in 1983; her sister, Concetta Narduzzo, and two brothers, Salvatore & Rosario Cosimano.
Lena is survived by her son, Richard A. (Karen) Pallone; 2 daughters, Mary (Raymond) Sematoske and Barbara (Charles) Svoboda; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; her sister, Rose Boyle, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral mass in celebration of Lena’s life will be held at 9:30 am on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Liverpool. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 pm -7:00 pm on Friday, December 28, 2018 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the March of Dimes.
