From when I was about 10 years old and playing hardball at Webster school my parents bought me my first Wilson baseball Glove from Leon and Rose.I used to stop in the store all the time when I was in that area or coming home from church school. I am sorry to hear about Leon's passing. I serve communion at St. Joe's and went to his room in January but he was sleeping. I wanted to share the memory that he sold me my first baseball glove (Andy Pafko model) and my Dad and I just enjoyed visiting with him in his store. I will remember Leon and all of you in my prayers.
