Leonard V. Annesi's Obituary
Leonard V. Annesi, 93, of Liverpool, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Nicholas and Jenny (Centritta) Annesi. Leonard served with the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired after 60 years of service as a plant manager for Learbury’s.
He was predeceased by his wife, Louise F. (Lerro) Annesi in 2008; two brothers, John Annesi and Joseph Anesi, and his sister, Mary Titone.
Leonard is survived by his two sons, Len (Karen) Annesi of Glendale, AZ and Lawrence (Paula) Annesi of Liverpool; five grandchildren, Gianna, Antonio, Stefanie, Rachel, and Elizabeth; three great-grandchildren; five sisters, Antoinette (Charles) Milazzo, Frances (Richard) Ventrone, Anne (Robert) Rafka, Rose (Donald) Husted, and Carol (Gerald) Wallace, along with many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 9:00 AM at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Leonard’s life at 10:00 AM in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Entombment will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Monday, August 8, 2016 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
