Leonard Biscotti's Obituary
Leonard Biscotti, 72, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 after a brief illness. Born in Syracuse he was a devoted son and end of life care giver for his mother, Mary E. Biscotti. Leonard was loved for his innocence, humor, friendship and devotion to his family.
Leonard was predeceased by his mother Mary E. Biscotti and his sister Linda Tucci.
Leonard is survived by his sister, Sister Marita Biscotti of Beacon N.Y., his brother-in-law, George J. Tucci, Sr. of Cicero; his nephew, George J. Tucci, Jr., 3 nieces; Terri (Joseph) Tucci-Petrin, Denise (Rich) Carlson, and Lisa (Mitch) Toleson, along with 10 great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Leonard’s life will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, December 18, 2015 at St. Rose of Lima Church, North Syracuse. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Leonard’s name can be made to Carmelite Monastery, 89 Hiddenbrooke Dr., Beacon, NY 12508.
