Lillian Mae (Badgley) Boylan's Obituary
Lillian Mae (Badgley) Boylan, 75, of North Syracuse, passed away Wednesday at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of the late Carl and Lillian Mae (MacAllister) Badgley. Lillian retired from Price Chopper in 2002 after over 25 years of service. She was a devout Catholic and a longtime member of St. Rose of Lima Church. Lillian was a Syracuse Orange fan and enjoyed bowling, bingo, fishing, RV camping and playing the organ. She wintered in Naples, Florida and Myrtle Beach. Lillian loved butterflies because of their transformation to new life and her family meant the world to her.
She was predeceased by her son, Otto Boylan, Jr., her sister Dorothy and her brother Charles.
Lillian is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Otto Boylan; her daughter, Debbie (Fouad) Fakhoury; her two sons, Randy (June Rieben) Boylan and John Boylan; five grandchildren, Amanda, (Ryan Frankosky) Jennifer and Olivia Fakhoury, Julia Lillian Boylan, (Erik Cusworth, and daughter Bella) Joshua, (Heather Gedney) Boylan; her great-grandson, Tristan Boylan; her brother, Carl (Patricia) Badgley; several nieces, nephews and cousins, and her dog, Abigail “Abby”.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 9:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Lillian’s life at 10:00 am in St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Monday, November 9, 2015 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY or St. Rose of Lima Church.
