Linda A. (Brennan) Franks' Obituary
Linda A. (Brennan) Franks, 62, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully with her beloved husband of 40 years by her side on February 13, 2022. She was born in Syracuse and graduated from Cicero North Syracuse High School in 1977 and attended OCC. Linda began her career as a dispatcher with the Syracuse City Police Department. She was an avid car enthusiast and member of the Syracuse Shelby Mustang Club. Linda enjoyed attending numerous car shows and watching the races at Watkins Glenn. She loved spending time with friends and family, especially her beloved grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Gina Franks; her father, Patrick Brennan, Sr.; her brother, Thomas Brennan, and stepfather, Larry Somers.
Linda is survived by her husband, Holland “Scott” Franks; her daughter, Nicole (Joe) Bartolotta; two grandchildren: Kaylee Franks and Sophia Bartolotta; her mother, Marie (Aloi) Somers; brothers; Patrick (Sue) Brennan Michael (Marie) Brennan and Stephen Somers; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. Burial will be private. She will be laid to rest in North Syracuse Cemetery.
