Linda V. (Collier) Nuzzo's Obituary
Linda V. (Collier) Nuzzo, 72, of Clay, NY, passed away Friday at the Oneida Healthcare Facility. She was born in Cooperstown, NY and graduated from Cooperstown High School and Broom Tech College. Linda worked as a Dental Hygienist for over 10 years, and then went on to become a Teacher Assistant for the Cicero-North Syracuse School District. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, ceramics, and most of all, loved spending precious time with her family.
She was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Velma (Kilts) Collier, and her sister, Lillian Lamb.
Linda is survived by her husband of 46 years, Robert G. Nuzzo; three children, Lisa Reynolds of Unadilla, NY, Michelle Nuzzo of Clay, and Kristin (Michael) Perez of Liverpool; three grandchildren, Zachary, Colby, and Nico; two brothers, Stewart (Lois) Collier of Fayetteville, and Steven (Evelyn) Collier of Cooperstown; her brother-in-law, Larry Lamb of Roseboom, NY, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Linda’s family would like to thank the staff on the 5th Floor Vent Unit at Oneida Healthcare for their care and compassion.
A Funeral Service in celebration of Linda’s life will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, December 16, 2016 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
