Lisa Catherine Grosso's Obituary
Lisa Catherine Grosso, 60, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse, NY. She was the daughter of the late Anthony J. Grosso, Esq., and Angela Marie (Falaguerra) Puzzullo. Lisa graduated and was valedictorian of her class at Franciscan Academy all girls High School. She went on to receive her associates degree at Syracuse University. At a young age Lisa entered and won the MONY National Scholastic Contest for art. Her sketch received national recognition and was featured in the 1980 Lake Placid Winter Olympics. Lisa had a great talent for art and was a gifted pianist. She was extremely generous gifting her artwork to family and loved ones.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her grandparents, Dr. Joseph, and Catherine (Cerio) Grosso; Anthony and Grace (Surace) Falaguerra; her uncle and aunt, John, and Rosemary (Conte) Grosso, and her brother-in-law, Jamie Sutor.
Lisa is survived by her beloved sister, Gina Sutor; her uncles and aunts, Dr. Benedict, and Gloria (Grosso) Alibrandi and Vincent and Diane (Falaguerra) Latone, and several cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 from 12:00 – 12:45 pm, immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Lisa’s life at 12:45 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. She will be laid to rest in Assumption Cemetery.
